What's with the Touchy Feely?
In keeping with the Feely family tradition; Grandma Feely and Aunt Jennifer set to work on a quilt for the arrival of Grandma Feely’s first grandson. This quilt was a bit different than the traditional baby quilt they usually made. It was made with different textures, bright vivid colors, and an oh so silky back. This quilt was lovingly called the Touchy Feely after those who made it. Little did we know how perfect this beautiful but different blanket would be for our very special Marshall! Three days after Marshall was born we found out that Marshall had Down syndrome. The blanket was such a wonderful gift to receive after hearing the news on Marshall. We had been given a gift made with so much love that was not quite what had we expected. Yet it was beautiful and fun to snuggle and cuddle. Just like our little Marshall Man!
The whole Feely family has enjoyed Marshall’s special quilt for the last 4 years. Even more we have enjoyed passing on the same great gift to our friends and other family members for the arrival of their babies.
